The Sunday brunch that's actually an event. Calypso Brunch runs four and a half hours on the second floor overlooking the St. Lucie, with a brunch menu and the full all-day menu both in play — so nobody at the table has to negotiate. Live music takes the patio from noon to 3pm, which is when the room stops being a restaurant and starts being an afternoon.

A local, family-owned breakfast-and-lunch cafe — the neighborhood kind, not the destination kind, which is exactly the point on a slow Saturday. Order online if you'd rather take it somewhere else, and they'll cater a meeting or a family gathering if the crowd outgrows the room.
